Kyle Keillor studied New Media (Graphic Design/Web Design/Audio/Video) in Indiana at IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University- Indianapolis), before moving to Michigan to study Illustration at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids.
After working in Grand Rapids for a few years Kyle decided to move to Lansing to launch his online Portfolio and Print Shop: 417 Studios www.fouronesevenstudios.com
417 Studios was named after Kyle’s birthdate April 17 (4/17), but Kyle wanted it to be more like an address that he can take with him anywhere as he has had to move a lot in his life, so his art business was titled 417 Studios (four one seven studios). Kyle started making art when he was a teenager because he wanted to be a comic book illustrator, but later was more interested in fine art and printmaking. Currently, he mostly works with ink, mixed media, watercolor, and acrylics.
Kyle’s prints can currently be seen or purchased at Keys to Creativity in the Lansing Mall or at 417studios.storenvy.com
