Catherine's introduction to art came at an early age from her artistic parents. Throughout her life she has working with many mediums, but in recent years has found a fondness for acrylic paints. From her Owosso studio she teaches painting with acrylics.
Catherine’s body of work is full of organic forms. Her time as Potter Park Zoo’s resident artist has bolstered her portfolio of exotic wildlife. She also has many botanical inspired works.
During her career in the area she has taught free, all-ages, art classes and worked on other community based pieces. She describes the artistic process as ‘therapeutic’, and hopes to bring that to others.
